New Moon in Leo on July 28, 2022
A Leo New Moon will bring the vibe of introspection for the purposes of understanding your true self. Leo energy wants to show the world who you really are. New Moon energy is about new beginnings.
The title is a bit of an inside joke between myself and a friend. I want to share it with you. I am not sure how the topic got started between us both. I believe it may have been a conversation borne from passions for the products we offer here at Arcadia Marketplace.
One of the things I enjoy about this time of year in particular is the extra family time and our own special family traditions. Each year since my children have been little hush puppies, I have purchased a new holiday ornament for them for our tree.
Having positive people in such a sensitive area is vital for our products to maintain authentic magic. When it’s time to bring in a new family member we tread carefully. “Hire intentionally”, is our motto and frankly, that can be a difficult value to maintain when we are in a desperate need for more hands on deck.
When we hire a new employee we know that we are investing in them; the cost of training, cost of work slowdown during training and the cost of the hiring process. Because this is an investment (on average it costs a business $2000 to hire a new employee) we make sure that a new potential employee fits in with our culture. We even draft our interview questions to get an initial read on how they stand with each of our values: Open, passionate, excellence, fun and tenacity.
You don’t have to be outwardly magic or even understand what we do to work at Coventry. You just have to be a good person who jives with the people that you spend more time with than you spend with your family. We know that every person we hire leaves an imprint upon our products and our lives and ours to theirs. We work with the intent that we will walk together for a time and need to leave each other’s lives the better for it. We just want to generate good vibes that carry all the way through our products ending with the person who needs the magic we create.

Thank you! We are filled with gratitude for our entire Coventry Family; for every store that sells our products, for every employee that recommends a Coventry solution, for every customer who chooses to believe in us and invest in their own magic.
The Coventry family is far and wide and we adore you all! Our staff of magic makers at our candle factory, our customer care staff that span many states, the crew of IT marketers that make sure our message goes around the globe and back. Not to leave out our magical experts that consult with our retail customers over the phone and face to face nor our partner in podcasting and fellow magical expert. Thank you all for being a part of our world and keeping it magic!

About 3 years ago we started featuring the Affirmation candles in December to promote a magical and empowered turn of the year. This new tradition has gone from a simple wholesale promotion to a personal journey that many of our customers anticipate and plan for.
Instead of a New Year’s Resolution, we promote the creation of a New Year’s Affirmation.
Resolutions are for breaking. They are a vow and promise that is impossible to keep, this creates sabotage and defeat in the new year.
Affirmations are for keeping. They allow small sustainable changes that build upon each other to create a new reality over time.
With this month’s special and New Year POP sign, you can stock up on the Affirmations and start a conversation with your customers, helping them choose their 2016 Affirmation and bring in the New Year with positive energy!

This first time I had a well-earned hangover I was given the advice to drink water, eat carbs and fill up on protein. The only thing missing from that advice is take a nap about an hour after you wake up.
Contrary to what you have may have been told or have assumed after watching modern crime shows or scary movies, the pentagram, sometimes called the pinnacle, is not a symbol of evil devil worship. Most people know what a pentagram is. This is probably one of the most recognizable and misunderstood symbols in the world.
