Candle Ritual for Setting Goals

For this Full Moon candle ritual you will need three candles and three candle holders, paper and pen, a Needed Changes Blessed Herbal candle for letting go of limiting self-doubt and negative self-talk, a Clarity Chakra candle for getting organized in your thoughts, and a Success Affirmation candle for keeping you on track.  

Prepare for this candle ritual by asking for spiritual protection and unwrapping the candles and putting them in their candle holders.

Light the Needed Changes candle and reflect on past goal setting. Did you attain your goal? Why or why not. Think about all the things that went wrong and where you were personally responsible. These are the things you want to change going forward. 

What went wrong but was out of your control? These are the situations you need to let go of and move that angry and frustrating energy out of your emotions and thoughts. 

Now that you have cleared out the negative energy of the past, get ready to invent your future. Light the Clarity Chakra candle and start writing your goals for 2023. If it helps, cut out some pictures from magazines and build a vision board. Be inventive, inspired, and blow the roof off your limitations.

Next, you will light the Success candle. As it burns, create a plan of action. What can you do every day to keep yourself on track and motivated? What will be your go-to affirmation or mantra on the days you are tired, facing setbacks, or have to be extra creative? Write it down and put it on your bathroom mirror.
