New Moon in Taurus April 23, 2020

There is nothing quite like a New Moon in Taurus.  It feels sweet, gentle and calm. I am reminded of Ferdinand the gentle bull who stayed true to himself in spite of all the teasing from the other bulls.  He cherished a life of peace and he wandered off away from peer pressure to maintain it.

What kind of life do you want? Do you need the support of the strong, suborn, stick to your ideal’s energy of the Taurus New Moon? 

We offer this New Moon ritual of Loving Kindness. It will help you see yourself in your ideal life and strengthen your will power.  Like Ferdinand, you too can stay true to yourself without giving into others.  

For this ritual, you will need Wicked Good Florida Water or any other brand of Florida Water, World Magic Sweet Grass candle, a candle holder and World Magic Sweet Grass oil. Start your magic by putting a little Florida water in the palm of your hand.  Rub your hands together and then sweep your hands through your aura, starting at your head and working your way down to your feet. Sweep the front and back of all your chakras too. Feel all the attachments from other people and their expectations fall away from you.  Relish the freedom you feel. Do this as many times as you need.   

On a piece of paper, describe your ideal life.  Fold it up and put it under the candle holder. Remove all packaging and place the Sweet Grass candle in the holder and light it.  Sit with the candle and visualize your life as you desire it to be. Watch as you walk away from judgment and ridicule you’ve received or worried you will receive from others. Feel your feelings of happiness, contentment, and joy.   When you are done, extinguish the candle. Come back to it every day and repeat the visualization. 

Before you go out into the world, anoint your wrists with the Sweet Grass oil.  It will keep the joy in your aura and remind you to treat yourself with loving-kindness every day.  Over time you will see your visualization start to materialize in your life.
