We talk about creating your own reality with magic a lot around here. What if you’re not a witch and don’t want to be “magical”, when making your dreams come true, reaching a goal, and living a purposeful life? You can still do it! Creating your own reality is magical to us and we love showing everyone how to do that, but you can get there in your own way. Those that put together a vision board don’t call it magic, but they are still creating their own reality. The process is similar and the outcome is the same, but the language is different.
We call it playing with magic, others may call it law of attraction, stating an intention or aspiring to reach a goal. It’s ok to change the language. Just don’t give up being a creative person.
One of my favorite reasons for being alive is to create something. Whether I’m writing or designing and building a flower garden, I love to make something happen that wasn’t there before. That got me to thinking, where does our creativity come from and how does it work? My research showed that all creativity starts in the collective consciousness of the universe. Jacki and I wrote about connecting to this collective mind by exploring the Akashic Records. Our book, DIY Akashic Wisdomtakes the reader on a journey to know themselves, and learn how to turn their life into the life that suits them well.
Tuning into the collective mind seems like a mental process and it is in part, but, how you get personally involved with it is through your soul’s prompting for an experience. You feel this soul prompting in your emotions or sacral chakra. It may feel brand new or it may feel like you are reconnecting with an old friend. Either way, it’s the combining of the prompting with passion, talent and dedication that are the cornerstones of your creative process. Even if you don’t have a lot of talent for it at first, your passion will carry you until you master it.
Once your soul gets your attention and engages your feelings, your mind becomes the beacon for the supportive universal flow of inspiration. As we know, like attracts like, soon you are filled with layer upon layer of ideas and next step improvements. Inspired thought is fluid and alive and when you’re really cooking, it will wake you up at night with a new twist or turn of its evolution. Your focus and determination is what brings these ideas into your reality.
Getting it out of your head and into the 4th dimension. We need the assistance of the throat chakra for this. Inside each of our throat chakras is a blue diamond. It forces the energy of the ideas empowered by our passion to come to life as we speak it, write it and build it. Without this gift we would be very frustrated and have a lot of thinking going on but no doing. It’s important to clear and strengthen this chakra to keep the process moving forward. Don’t be discouraged, most people need to heal their throat chakras. It has been told to shut up for a long time. We also have traumas to release because we’ve been hurt or killed for what we’ve said or tried to do.

Start a yoga practice, meditate on your chakras, anoint your chakra with oils, or burn a candle that matches the color of the chakra or a candle whose intention matches yours. It was what she wanted and the candle helped her focus and then have the confidence to act on it. This can happen for you too. Go ahead, play with magic, tune your chakras and be open to accessing the library of your soul and create the life that suits you.
